| Timber Preservative and Stabiliser CD50-LOG is a surface applied pre-treatment for dry timber. CD50-LOG has a particularly rapid and very deep penetration into the timber. CD50-LOG actually allows the internal moisture to be released while protecting against atmospheric moisture. This means CD50-LOG is particularly effective on thick timber, logs, poles, beams, laminated timbers etc. It can be used where tanalising is not an option, where the timber is above the ground and the timber is dry. CD50-LOG can be used on untreated joists above ground level. The formula can be altered to achieve different levels of preservation to suit the situation. Contact Churton Pacific Ltd . CD50-LOG is a variation of regular CD50, with the same active ingredient, Copper 8 quinolinolate (Copper 8). CD50-LOG has been used safely around horse stables where protection is required for thick timber. CD50-LOG has even been used on children's toys. It is recommended that regular CD50 is used after CD50-LOG. In this case you would get the deep fast protection of CD50-LOG in cases where it is needed in the first coat, and then the superior surface water repellency and colour retention of CD50 in the second coat.
